LeadingAge Minnesota has honored Milaca Elim Meadows Administrator Laura Broberg with the 2024 Outstanding Leadership Award. Laura’s remarkable leadership skills have left an indelible mark on long-term care.
The award recognizes one leader in older adult services who provides excellent leadership to their staff and organization, enhances the quality of life for residents and delivers exceptional community service.
Broberg boasts an impressive 37-year career in long-term care, demonstrating unparalleled leadership. Her journey began in social services, and her dedication led her to the role of administrator.
“Laura’s growth within the organization is a testament to her tenacity and ability to unify staff, families, residents and community members,” said Kari Thurlow, President and CEO of LeadingAge Minnesota. “Her hands-on approach and dedication to residents and staff during this critical time exemplify her exceptional leadership.”
Broberg’s leadership style empowers her team to fulfill their roles authentically and encourages them to lead quality improvement projects that enhance residents’ lives.
